To use this tool, you need a high resolution color photo of a person facing camera, as in the example above (the photo in the example above is scaled down to fit the page). The file should be in jpeg format (.jpeg or .jpg), background and other people around are Ok. However, please make sure that the face is in the upright position facing camera, not tilted to the side. Examples of a suitable and not suitable photos (both scaled down to fit this page) are shown below.
